A book in three days? Kidding?

Bullshit is what being spread through social networks these days. The latest I heard is from LinkedIn where a number of people are snooping around to dupe budding writers who want to write a book but haven't been able to due to various reasons. So the following lines I cut and pasted below are from a claim-monger on LinkedIn which has tutorial on 'how to write a book in 3 days:

"There is a book inside of you, there is genius in you that the world needs. In this episode you will learn how to write a book in 3 Days."
I've a stern advice to writers. Please don't fall prey to these claims. They are false, inaccurate and an attempt to steal your money or time. I don't deny that you cannot write a book in three days. You can. But only when you sit at your desk and are charged with creativity that flows seamlessly. The problem is we have become impatient and want things at a supersonic pace. Believe it does not pay and drags us into more difficult phase.

A whole lot of the people are prowling the internet to take advantage of your shortcomings and more over impatience. You have a writer inside you, a book inside you, a story inside you, an epic inside you. You only need to ponder, write, and write again. It needs slogging, hard work and above all, fortitude.

It would be great to hear your stories as to how you began and ended up finishing a book. I'm sure it took a more time than you have thought you'd devote. But that's the fact.
