An interesting short story about a thief "Leila"

Have you read stories where arrogant rowdies get trapped because of their own ego? I've read one recently on The Literary Yard. I appreciate the author's narrative. It seems that every word has been chosen with care and written to suit the style of a ruffian, uncouth vagabond thief. The author has created scenes and built up ambiance to fit the situation. Personally I appreciate the moment when the thief is trapped into cop's or sheriff's net.

A sound narrative is the soul of any story. Without a good narrative, sometimes the best anecdotes fail to interest readers. Nevertheless, I've edited and approved dozens of stories on The Literary Yard as the chief editor of the e-journal written innovatively. One such story is The Peacock Traveler. 'Leila' written in first person strikes a perfect knock in the reader's mind through its seamless flow.

These days, many writers prefer to tell stories through first person
