Rockstand
Digital, India’s eBook and eMagazine application
company, has announced the launch of India’s first social reading network for
Book and Magazine readers – Rock Connect on its application Rockstand.
With
a facility to connect people with similar reading interests, this
feature will cut across the boundaries which means people across the
geographies can interact with like-minded people on this platform. All
you need is Rockstand application and after you registered yourself, you
can buy eBooks and eMagazines of your favourite authors and interact
with them on regular basis. One can share views, ideas, book reviews and
lot many things by connecting with each other.
Speaking about the Rock Connect, Rishi Mohan Jha, Head, Rockstand Digital said, “A
year back when we launched Rockstand we knew that we were going to
herald a new chapter in the history of eBooks in India. Our aim from
very beginning was to bring difference in Digital reading habits of
people and Rock Connect will further strengthen this aim as well as save
our environment in the process. This feature will connect us with our
readers and create a knowledge exchange platform. The advantage of Rock
Connect is that you can keep a track on what latest happening in eBook
space.”
At
Rockstand, through Rock Connect, one can get connected with other
person of similar reading interest. One can add a friend by sending or
receiving invite and can create his/her own profile. After becoming
friends both of them can view each other profile, friend list and books /
magazines purchased from the application.
One
can also give their preferred rating or reviews about a particular
eBook or eMagazine and can also update his/her Display status in the
profile. Also many more amazing and exciting features are in pipeline
which will be incorporated in the application to give user a superlative
experience.
Also
Rockstand have recently tied-up with M-Y Books, VJM Media Group,
Network 18 Publications, Kalki Magazine, Pearl publications, Sapna book
house, Sharda
Prakashan and many other leading publishers. This adds to the already
rich collection of eBooks and eMagazines available at Rockstand. It has
been our constant endeavour to have books and magazines for people
across all age groups, languages and genres.
Organization has released Beta version as of now. The full version is expected to release in a few weeks.
