Stanley Park, a new novel by Racine Hiet, is out. I got to know about
the novel through my Goodreads account. Its summary boasts of an
interesting tale about a girl. Before recommending it to you, I would
rather request you to go through the summary and make your own
decision. I could perceive from the book note that how Racine Hiet
has tried to put a girl's fateful life in s story.
In this debut novel by
Racine Hiet, a young girl named April is chosen by fate to
participate in a terrible, bloody crime. Unjustly blamed for the
result, her life is forever altered. Like so many victims of trauma,
she attempts to reinvent herself, changing her name and locking away
her past.
But when she meets a remarkable man named Markus, a flame is kindled inside her -- a flame that illuminates her dark past. In the tradition of The Lovely Bones and White Oleander, Racine Hiet has used gentle, flowing prose to cast a spell through what the summary claims to be a compelling tale of fighting for the light in an often dark world.
However, it is all your decision or verdict that will matter. I'd encourage readers to respond to the book on Vagabond Author's comment box and let us know how the story was.
