Writers have always loved booze. If you see the history of most famous authors, they were addicted to wine or enjoyed a form of addiction. You might decry it. But the fact is authors loved to be intoxicated. They wrote the best of works in their intoxicated self. S T Coleridge is one such example. PB Shelley is yet another Romantic Poet who spent hours drinking and having sex. However his 'ODE TO THE SKYLARK' and other poems are some of the best ones.
You may love to read the best of books while you are drunk. I however do not recommend this but many of the friends have shared their experiences. Some of my friends used to take a couple of shots before the exams to prepare. They used to score high marks in the exams. Amazing combination. But you are not advised to do so. Drinking is injurious to health.
