Lata is a go-getter who
tries every bit to give her best at home and office and divides her
time smartly between her family of six people – husband, two
teenaged kids and old in-laws – and her office where she is a
manager and always remains in the good books of her bosses. But her
hardwork and devotion leaves less space for socializing especially
when she has to accompany her family to the social functions. She
barely gets time to buy party clothes for her kids and herself as she
is always stuck in the last moment things both at office and home. It
leaves her kids cribbing and husband disappointed.
All hell broke loose on a
day when she had to attend her sister's wedding. In her attempt to do
things in hurry, she forgot her smartphone at home before she left.
She realized in the office that she can not talk to the family and
request them to meet at the shopping mall in the evening. She knew
her family would be difficult to face as all of them would be sad and
angry.
But as she steps in at 6
O clock she finds a different scene at home. Her kids and husband are
busy selecting from a range of clothes for the evening function. A
representative from Myntra was showing them all options.
Surprised, she asked,
“Honey, Ye sab kya hai?”
“This is the magic. We
thought we should add powers to your underutilized smartphone?” her
daughter smiled.
“I didn't get you?”
Lata said, quizzically. She was still not able to comprehend.
“Your phone was here so
we downloaded the Myntra app and ordered clothes for us. Simple,”
intervened another daughter. She brought her smartphone and showed
her how they did it.
“Isn't this cool,
baby?” her husband said. “We thought. Let's not bother you.”
“Let my smartphone
handle our wardrobes,” says the Myntra representative.
